    Hi,

I have a Diplomat ADP3553 Oven which is about 4 years old, and the fan motor stopped working a few days ago.

Firstly, or maybe connected, the light bulb blew, which I replaced successfully, although noticed the casing seemed to be a bit deformed. Following this however the fan no longer works. I wonder if the lamp and the fan motor blew at the same time.

I have removed the rear cover to check the fan is spinning freely which it is and the element is still heating up.

I also wonder if it is safe to use the oven without the fan functioning.

Any advice or questions you might have would be very useful. I look forward to hearing from someone.

    Thanks in advance.
    😀

without the fan running, heat from the elememt will not be passed around the oven and will finally blow the element.
sounds like the fan motor is faulty.
be safe and unplug when testing.
