    Cooling fan DP200a replaced as old one tested open circuit. When new fan first fitted and power turned on, fan ran but would not stop. Clock/Timer reset and oven element turned on/off to see if timed cooldown would work. Fan ran for about 2 hours then stopped working altogether. Will not run at all now, tested ok for continuity and resistance about 500 ohm. 240v supply at terminals. Any ideas?

    That fan is controlled by a circuit board (around £30 give or take) which may have blown a track when the fan went.
    It may be worth getting an engineer in to diagnose & repair before proceeding with more parts though.
