A few months ago, my oven started cutting out/switching itself off after prolonged use, especially at higher temps (e.g. above 220c).

Now, the fan oven assisted oven setting no longer produces any heat. I can still use the setting where the floor and roof of the oven are heated with the fan.

Any ideas what’s wrong and if it’s DIY fixable?
    Thanks.

I’m about to order this part, is it easy enough to fit?

I’m guessing it must be this because when you use the fan oven setting, the fan works fine but there’s no heat whatsoever.

The oven unit will have to be removed from the housing to replace the fan element, you cannot do it from inside the oven cavity, unless you are very confident of being able to do this I would advise you get a professional Engineer to do it for you 🙂
