Diplomat ADP5340 replacing oven element

I have taken off the back of the oven and exposed the plate holding the element itself. It just will not release from the oven itself. Any ideas? Brute force has not been necessary with other ovens, is it with this one? :rolls:

I have a similar problem with my ADP5330 – just posted a question myself – will let you know if I find the solution!
