diplomat adp5701 range cooker (stainless steel)

Hi the above cooker controls get to hot to touch,the oven door is cold apart from the top 2″.i have checked the seal by putting talc round it and a good imprint was achieved .any ideas .

This depends on what you call too hot 😉

The Standard (BS) is that the knobs can reach 60C above the ambient room temperature, so if your kitchen is 20C then the knobs may well reach 79C and still be withing the current legislation and the specification of the cooker.
