diplomat adp5820

hi everyone

have a problem with a diplomat adp5820 range cooker, the fan assisted oven is not working properly, the element is getting hot but the fan is not working, spoke to someone a while ago and he metion it was a serious fault costing about £250 (can`t remember what he said!!) any ideas?

Start with a continuity test through the fan motor. Power off first.

It’s THIS ONE if it proves to be faulty.

thanks penguin,
wife has just told me that the grill is not working as well, the fan is going around in the grill but not warming up could it be the element in the grill? is it the same fan in the grill as the oven if so can i replace the grill fan over to the oven to check it ?

if grill not working will most likely be element or energy regulator.
i might be misunderstanding but im unclear about the fan is it 2 fan ovens + cooling fan ? or fan oven + conventional oven+ cooling fan?
is there 4 sections grill + fan oven + conventional oven+ some type of storage section as 4th?
if it is a twin fan oven should be ok to swap unless the fan looks diffrent.
