Just started sticking in mid-program. The programmer stops at about 2 o’clock. There was a wiring diagram inside when I opened it up and I’m pretty sure it’s one of the stats to blame. I can hear the element heating the water and cycling on and off, I assume it’s the safety stat doing the switching. The timer stops dead though and I think it’s waiting for one of the other stats to tell it the water is hot enough to carry on.
Problem is, I don’t where the stats (there are meant to be 3 of them) are. I can see the safety stat on the bottom near the element and I’ve tried tracing the wires from the timer but they seem to go inside the door??

Long time since I’ve worked on one of these – I think the stats are on a bracket next to the soap dispenser, so door outer will have to go. Be very careful of the inner panel, you can shave with the edges. Check for broken wiring at the hinge pivot point as well.

Thanks for your reply. Upon further investigation, I have found the problem to be the circulation pump – the dishwasher powder not being touched was a bit of a clue – duh! There is 230V accross the terminals but the pump is silent. I have removed it and it is open circuit. It is an ‘Askoll 0003 COD 93411 295023 mod M13. That’s everything I can see on the label! Could you please check price and availability for me. It could be not worth repairing as it looks quite a chunky (expensive) piece of kit, but I’d like to know, if possible.
