My dishwasher was installed as part of a new MFI kitchen 3 years ago. Recently it has started to take a long time to complete the wash cycle (up to 2 hours), and wasn’t really getting dishes cleaned properly.

I disconnected it and did a few simple checks for any drain blockage – seemed OK. I also checked what looks like an inlet pump/valve (the impeller spins OK).

Whwn I reconnected it, the machine ran for only a few minutes before it flooded the kitchen. The water poured out through the bottom plate, not anywhere else.
I tried it again on the SOAK cycle, and it pumped water out as the first part of the ccyle – and seemed to be OK ( no flooding).

When I tried it again on ECONOMY it didn’t pump out as the first part of the cycle – and flooded again. Went back to SOAK – didn’t pump out first and then flooded.

Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated ( if not, 🙄 please send lifebelt).

    Bill
