Hi,
wonder if anyone can shed any light on dishwasher problem!
Had this washer for approx 2 years and apart from a couple of door switches not allowing door to unlock, no probs until now!
Dishwasher goes through programs the MAJORITY of time but every now and again it just keeps going and program doesnt end. No fault lights when door opened, just some water and when reset, it beeps but needs to have program started again to get rid of water.
It has been known to be going all night!
I have been advised it may be a timer fault, but before parting with a lot of money, I wanted to be sure the best route!Thanks, tim, B45

It sounds like there may be a partial blockage somewhere in the draining system.
If the machine doesn’t drain within a certain time limit the programme will abort.
The only thing you can check yourself is the waste system the dishwasher is connected to, probably a spiggot on the sink trap. Check for blockages in there, if all seems ok, you will probably need an engineer.

Thanks for advice. I may have confused a bit as water seems to pump in and out no problems and straight away when set to. the programme just seems to stick and continually be washing or running without moving forward. It just so happens that when I open door its at a place where water will be there. 🙂 The problem to me seems that machine gets stuck in certain parts of program.

Check you heater and thermostat(s). If it’s not heating it won’t advance.
