I have read a number of topics with regards reset procedures etc. for this dishwasher, but I have one where I believe I have identified the fault as the membrane switch on the PCB as failing.
This has been deduced by the fact that the button on the front / top of the machine has no action whatsoever (including operating a reset procedure) but I can get the dishwasher to perform a completely normal cycle by ‘shorting’ across the contacts at the back of the switch.
I have I think spotted a number of possible compatible parts (e.g. Tyco) as ‘Tactile Switches’ on the RS website but wondered if there was an easier way of identifying exactly which I need. As the maximum price for these switches is £0.15 (min order 20) I really don’t want to replace the entire PCB…
Any help greatly appreciated.
