I have a Diplomat ADP8221 dishwasher which has the timer lock out problem. I have changed the water distributor, timer and cleaned everyting out. Have also fitted modified flap valve to sump.
The rotten thing still locks out more times than not, always in the same place.
    Any more ideas?

    Regards

From Smeg’s tech disk if it helps:

REMOVE THE LOWER INSPECTION PLATE AND CHECK THAT THE SAFETY LEVEL SWITCH HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED, THIS CAN HAPPEN IF THE CUSTOMER HAS HIGH WATER PRESSURE OR THE APPLIANCE HAS BEEN TRANSPORTED ON ITS SIDE. IF THE SWITCH HAS BEEN ACTIVATED REMOVE THE PLASTIC PIPE THAT CONNECTS TO THE LEVEL SWITCH, BLOW DOWN IT TO CLEAR ANY WATER THEN REFIT PIPE. IF THE CUSTOMER HAS HIGH WATER PRESSURE YOU MUST FIT A NEW STYLE VALVE PART NUMBER: 813050120

Sorry about the caps, pasted directly 😉

    Dave.
