Can anyone please advise if it is possible to replace the LCD control display on an adp8234 without replacing the complete control / dood lock plastic housing ?
The display isn’t lighting the correct segments so it’s impossible to tell which program is selected. Counting the beeps doesn’t get the correct program every time, suggesting it’s a bigger problem than just the display. I’ve over come the E9 code a while ago with the forums help and don’t want this to get get the better of me
    Thanks

If the PCB is at fault, yes it can be replaced but it isn’t cheap. Part number 696290762 at £114.81 ex VAT and carriage 😯

If you’re certain it’s failed and need one, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get things under way 🙂

Power off when checking :zap: or if you’re unsure and would like an engineer to check for you, check the repairs@ link below.

    Dave thanks for the reponse.
Any easy way of checking if it’s the PCB? The machine is still working, it’s just a bit of a guessing game which program it’s going to run, but at 114+vat I might be willing to put up with it.

There’s no 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} way of checking to be honest but if it’s working OK (especially the dispenser opeing every time) then it can’t be much elase really.

Well after another weekend of ‘guess what program I’m going to run’ 😈
and the glasses on the top rack coming out with the all to often grit deposits (took the machine apart & cleaned out the fill-chamber again a few weeks ago) I admit defeat. 😥
Now I’m sorry not to give you the spares work but to be honest I think the £114 for the new PCB would be better spent on a new machine.
So, I know no make is perfect, but you boys must know which makes are better than others, any suggestions (apart for buy a pair of Marigolds)?
    Thanks
