    hi can anyone help my wife has switched on the dishwasher and noticed no lower to the control panel, i have checked with a meter for power at the back of the machine and everything is fine , i have since then removed the pcb and found black marks can anyone advise if this controls the power and the rest of the machine how can i ensure it is the pcb as i dont want to spend a fortune on a 5 year old machine id rather replace it if it costs a fortune

    PCB runs everything… Easy check is to make sure that the door latch mechanism is working properly – if it or it’s microswitch is jammed in the closed position it won’t light up or programme.

    Entirely possible that the pcb has died as these machines are notoriously prone to corruption issues – article to be found HERE. That being the case, you’ll be looking at £120-130 for a pcb plus whatever caused the issue in the first place.
