diplomat adp8242 d/w

    when i got to this d/w the 4th & 5th lights were flashing so i reset and selected prog it drains fills then stops with lights 1 2 3 flashing and 5 on i couldnt find either of these in error thread any ideas?

    Sounds like a classic case of the PCB needing reset

    Press the program button 4 times within the first 3 seconds of the machine powering up.
    At this point you should have both the first and last lights flashing and the middle three should be off – if not start over until you get this sequence.
    Once you get the two outside lights flashing press the program button one more time and you will now be left with just one of the lights flashing.
    Switch off the machine using the door power button but do not close the door.
    Wait a few seconds (10-15 is plenty) then switch the machine back on and set it to a program to test.

    Hopefully that should do the trick.
