Diplomat ADP8242 dishwasher

Integrated washing machine runs through program but sticks on wash section. Only stops and drains if you do it manually.

assume you mean a dishwasher

does it start and then go bleep bleep ( very quietly) and seem to start again ?

Yes i do mean dishwasher.
No it doesnt seem to bleep at all. It just continuously washes, it heats but wont drain unless you manually put it on drain.

it washes, heats then you hear 2 very quiet beeps and keeps washing

anyway looks like a smeg in disguise

if so look at timer board and if its at the top of the door change the power supply capacitor its either 1 or 1.5uF

cant promise it that but its very likely. cap supplies voltage to board if it gets too low board crashes
