Diplomat ADP8242 Dishwasher fault code

Dishwasher has developed a fault, when machine power is turned on the ‘super and strong’ wash lights flash for approx 5 seconds. Then the eco light flashs while the super light goes solid. Have tried the reset but this did not help. Any advice welcomed.

Could you indicate which one’s those lights are numerically please from left to right.

I only have them listed a 1 2 3 4 etc.

When power turned on lights 4 and 5 flash and after approx 5 seconds light 3 flashes and light 5 is solid.

There is no such fault code as that one 😕

Which means one of two things, either the control PCB is faulty or there’s another component that is causing a software error in the PCB.

Engineer time on this one Allen.

Have a look in the directories or repairs@ for an engineer, or even pop our postcode up here.

i to have this problem but the dishwasher came with the house, and with no instructions. it also beeps before the lights flash.

Exactly the same problem or lights flashing generally ?

If it’s different lights, let us know which as each sequence means something different 😉

Engineer had a look, gave up and left parting thought…..no such fault code in the book so will ask around and get back to you…..my hands are getting softer with all this washing up. Perhaps its time for a new one (this one is only 18 months old)
