    Hi,
My Diplomat ADP8242 dishwasher has developed a mind of it’s own, it stopped working the other day so, as I’ve done before I tried the 4 quick presses of the program button to go through the reset, but as soon as the 1st and 5th LED’s came on the washer started to work with the door open, no matter what I did with the program button it would not stop it, I had to power off, then when I tried again and let it run through it’s cycle all 5 LED’s started flashing, anyone come across this one.
    Cheers, Mike.

Door latch stuck in closed position can do some strange things.

I did a bit of rummaging around the website last night and came across a little gem, It mentioned a SMEG/Diplomat dishwasher and some common faults, the one that caught my eye was the door switch stuck in closed position, after removing said micro switch and fitting a new one the dishwasher is working a treat, what a cracking website this is, and good call Penguin you were spot on(if a little late) 😀
    Cheers, Mike.
