Sounds like you have a dead machine then, The power button on this model does not illuminate anyway.
Could be anything really, the only thing you can check is for a blown fuse or a switched off supply somewhere, check the switches on the wall above your worktop as its surprising how often we get called out for that very simple oversite. Other than that its engineer time really.

I checked the fuse, switch and breakers all are fine, is there any
checks I could do before contacting an engineer. Thanks

Jim
To test further you’re getting into the guts of the machine now :zap: for which I would rcommend an experienced engineer (Repairs@).
I suppose you could check that the socket is OK by plugging in an appliance that you know to be working OK, such as a table lamp. If the lamp doesn’t work then the fault might be external to the dishwasher.
If you decide to open the machine up to take a look then power off please :plug:

Have you tried plugging something else into the socket the appliance is using??

I managed to get a hold of a meter and checked the voltage at the
power on button, it was reading under 200 volts ac at input when button
was out and no voltage at output end going to control card, when I pushed button
in both input and output read 240 volts ac but no leds come on in control card.
Should the 240 supply be rectified before it gets to the power on switch or are these
voltages correct, if so I suspect the control card is faulty, any help is appreciated. Thanks

Greg,
Thanks for your help I wasn’t sure if the card should have had 240 volts
input. How expensive are these cards. Thanks

Part number 816290672 at £123.45 plus postage (£4) I’m afraid Jim.
If you do need one, let me know, spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 🙂
