ParticipantPlease could someone tell me the reason and solution why the “Z” shaped plastic oval twin pipe always comes out of the connection where it is pushed into the base of the dishwasher next to the filter assembly? This problem is getting worse after each wash, and appears to occur on a 60C full wash.
I think there may be a blockage between the middle jet manifold connection, and the pressure from the pump is forcing this to “blow off” at the weakest connection. Can this be removed easily, and how, so I can eliminate this problem.
If it needs replacing, can anyone tell me the part number and supplier.
Your help on this would be much appreciated, as my wife is getting more and more p*ssed off with it.

It’s nearly always the part that the tubes lock in to that gets damaged, not the one on top but directly beneath it.
Check there 🙂

Right, so how easy is it to replace/repair? With all the faff in repairing it, will it cost more than what the actual machine is worth. The machine is only 2 years old.

Got to be worth spending an tenner on. You want the “Sieve Cover” – p/no 4812 418 18337 – the part that the tubes push into.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for confirmed prices and ordering.

Thanks for you help, and am now waiting confirmation for the price. How easy is it to install, and does the machine have to come out from its built in unit?

It’s just the plastic mesh part that the tubes push into – remove bottom rotor and two screws (from memory).

Well, the parts I oredered arrived safely, and thank for the prompt service. I have fitted it in and so far (touching wood) the problem is now resolved. Time will tell how long this will last.
I gather this range of dishwasher is a budget line, and therefore to coin a phrase – “You Get What You Pay For”.
So my wife is happy again, although she is not confident with the machine, as like most things, it seems that nothing is built to last – even a year you are luck with British made stuff.
Regards, and thanks for all your help. Andy
