So Desperate!! My D/W starts it’s programme, but takes in no water. I’ve checked the water valve and seems ok. A couple of minutes into the programme it starts to beep. When you open the door (it’s fully integrated) the detergent button is lit and the start button flashes 4 times. Is this something I can fix or do I need a professional. I rang one guy who said who doesn’t deal with diplomat as they are notorousily bad for faults and spares – help!!

It thinks it’s full of water when it shouldn’t be. Usual problem is the level sensor gets clagged up with food detritus. Have a look for the black grill in the sump under the filters.
Power off if you are going to remove it for cleaning.
