ParticipantYet another problem with my Diplomat ADP8322
You correctly diagnosed a circulation motor problem in May which was sucessfully replaced.
I now have a problem when the machine starts to beep continously towards the end of a cycle. When the door is opended the start light flashes four times then stops.
Is this something you have seen before ?
Any assistance would be gretaly appreciated.
Many Thanks

It’s telling you that it hasn’t detected a drop in the water level in the time allowed. It’s either blocked and not draining, or the water level control is not functioning correctly. The sensor is the black grid in the sump and has a habit of choking up with fat and food deposits.
Power off if investigating.

Wow that was quick – Thank You
Is there any special way to clean the sensor and can it be cleaned without being removed
Cheers

It’s a twist fit from underneath. Flushing under the hot tap is usually enough to get it clean. Don’t use anything pointy or sharp……

I forgot to mention something yesterday which may be of interest.
When the machine begins to bleep and you open the door the cycle has shifted to rinse/spray. The start button still continues to flash for four times.
Before i start dismantling the machine to clean the sensor, could this be something else ?
Thanks

Unlikely to be anything else…….. Bear in mind that it has to fill and empty four times in order to complete a normal cycle, each one is a potential “4 flash” point.

I had an issue with the dishwasher not cleaning properly and four warning lights flashing.
I unblocked the spining arms within the dishwasher as the were blocked with food deposits. I have removed and cleaned them and the beast is now working.
One other thing i want to clean the black grid located in the sump hole, you mention it is a twist fit from underneath. I cannot get to the underneath of my machine as there is a plate/ cover on the underside of the machine , i am to remove this to gain access to the grid to unscrew and clean? Many thanks for the advice so far

You would be well advised to – the edge is extremely sharp.
Power off as well, of course.

Yet more fun n games with this model
The machine has again started bleeping again four times part way through the cycle. I checked underneath and noticed water dripping through a white connector block which looks like it may be attached to the black water level sensor within the sump?
Any ideas, as usual any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Again
I need to replace the Black Sensor in my Diplomat ADP8322, as it appears to be perforated (my fault) when attempting to clean.
Do you know where i can buy one and approximately how much the sensor might be.
Many Thanks

“Lucky” is not exactly your middle name, is it? 😀
Diaphragm switch – 4812 271 28407 is the p/no – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly enough.
