Diplomat ADP8322 integrated dishwasher. 8545 000 15819. 33 0640 008554. (Whirlpool clone).
Machine starts, fills a bit, then faults (6 flashes; “tap closed”). After the fault code beeps, the machine keeps filling until I guess, the OWI shuts off the water intake. So there is no problem with water or valve. I suspected the flowmeter connections so I removed the connector, cleaned, tightened and refitted it. Still faulted. 😕
The flowmeter counts the fill volume and the OWI does final water level; right? So if the flowmeter is not generating a pulse and therefore not operating the reed switch the pcb will fill whilst beeping a fault code.
Is this feasible? 7 beeps / flashes are flowmeter problem normally, so has anyone else had this before?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve.
