    this is whirlpool made beast, and its my own,
    so keep it cheap!
    fault is 11 flashes, which book says is optical water sensor?
    where is this fitted?
    As ever cheers in advance for the help.

    Is this the black grill in the sump that gets crudded up???

    No optical sensor on this one. Water indicator (black grid) or flow meter likely suspects.

    thats almost what i thought.
    except flowmeter is only about 8 weeks old.
    But will check and let you know.
