Hi
Looked at one of these today. Fills up to base of salt cap as normal then aborts with 11 flashes (FA code) optical water indicator fault. Removed said item from sump, all clean but rinsed it out anyway. This part looked in principle like a pressure switch similar to the old Hoover T5004 wash sump switch. When blown into, micro switch no/nc tested ok. Still getting same fault. Any ideas?

Hi Greg
Revisted this machine today. On starting progamme, waited for it to fill and show error FA. Checked circuit from pcb WI connector down to water indicator and back, all was fine (closed circuit). Can I assume that the fault is in the pcb as I’ve tested all other components??
Cheers Rick
Hi Brian
I have codes for that goinf from F1- F8 then goes FA then FE. No mention of 11 flashes or FB so now Im confused 😕 🙂
FA is WI problem or related fault.
Hi Greg,
You’re right. 11 flashes is FA. F0 (the first one on my list) is 10 flashes.
I’ve altered my post on known error codes to include the number of flashes.
You’d think I’d know better, I’ve got an 8322 and it doesn’t have a diverter valve. 😳
