ParticipantI’m hoping someone might be able to give me an answer as to why my Diplomat ADP8322 seems to be turning itself off.
The machine just loses power midway into a cycle, so there are no flashing lights to indicate any form of error code – all lights simply shut off. The power buttons are then unresponsive for maybe a 10 minute period, after which I can then use them to turn the dishwasher back on. It doesn’t matter which setting I then use, the machine will again turn itself off after varying lengths of time into the individual cycles.
I’ve checked all the fuses, sockets and electrical connections. I’ve ensured there are no kinks in any of the pipes carrying water into the machine. I’ve checked for blockages in the waste pipes and filters. I’ve even sat and simply watched the machine several times to ensure I’m not missing out on seeing any flashing lights that might indicate a specific error.
Any ideas?

ParticipantI should also clarify that there are no beeping alert noises to be heard when it cuts out (just in case this wasn’t implied with the lack of lighting error indicators.)
Also, whilst the machine is actually working prior to it turning itself off, it seems to be functioning normally (ie. no problems with water, drainage, etc.) It seems to be cleaning the dishes normally during the time it is working, but obviously never completing the job as it turns itself off before it gets to the end of a cycle.
Additionally, if the machine is left to itself after the power has cut out, it will occasionally pick up the cycle, seemingly where it left off. During the “cut out” stage there are no lights on the display panel and all buttons are unresponsive. So on a few occasions it has managed to complete a full cycle in a disjointed manner, and over a period of several hours.
Perhaps the fact that it cuts out for a certain period of time before seemingly picking up where it left off might be an indicator that the issue is related to a part overheating, or some other issue that needs time to clear itself before allowing the machine to start up again?

It sounds like the power supply on the pcb is breaking down – that will cut out at random intervals.

Yeah, after looking into it, it does seem that the PCB had died. So thanks for your help.
It seems silly that for only slightly more money than a replacement PDB, I can buy an entire new dishwasher!
