Can someone please help me with my Diplomat ADP8322 problem please? When I switch it on it defaults to rinse cycle and will not allow me to select above 50’c program and will only perform a rinse cycle even when I select 30’c or 50’c program. Machine is filling and empting the water as it should do so there is no blockage and I am not getting any error codes or flashing light errors. PLEASE can someone give me any answers?

    Hi Gibbo,

It is a very strange problem that you describe, in fact I’ve never seen one do that before.

Are you sure that there’s no error lights?

If it just fills then empties then it sounds like the old E2 error and you’re gonna need an engineer to call I’m afraid.

    Hi K
Thanks for quick reply but I am definitely not getting any error beeps or flashing light errors. I spent four hours on this yesterday the only time I get any errors is when I disconnect NTC, FM, HEW and WV2 sensors

Definitely an oddball fault then, very possibly the timer itself but it’s an expensive thing to take a risk on so I’d advise an engineer in this case for sure.

This is a Whirlpool appliance. On any fault it will default to the rinse cycle, but, it will be accompanied by the start light flashing. If you’re not getting any flashes then it’s a very strange fault indeed and it would point to a module fault. However, as K says, it’s a very expensive part just to “try” and fix the machine. The best option is to call in an engineer.
