    Any help appreciated…..

The dishwasher has worked fine for over a year but now fails to disolve the tablet. The tablet is left in the bottom of the machine completely whole and untouched. The dishes are hot, there has obviously been water in the machine, and there are no error codes on the display. The machine seems to run through its cycle.

I have cleaned filters and used a different type of tablet but with no joy.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance. 😕

it sounds like your wash motor is gone as is common on these, get a quote from someone near you but youll find it well over £100 if i am right

Does sound like the wash motor, a common problem, at the stage when the machine has brought in water the wash motor is then activated, at this stage you may hear a rough rumbling sound.

If so then you have a wash motor prob of which I have fitted many.

    Thanks for the information.

To help my non technical brain, and at the risk of getting the obvious answer, what does the wash motor actually do? Once the water is in the machine, what does it do?

    Cheers.

Pumps the water through the spray arms. Slow pump = poor circulation; tablet may not dissolve.

Re: Diplomat ADP8322 – Tablet problems

    Cheers.

The new part appears to be about £85, any ideas on how long it takes/how big a job it is to fit?

I’m trying to work out how much it should cost me, obviously!

    Thanks.

is fairly easy to fit with some patince best to buy few jublee clips tho , hardest part is getting machine out most times and some parts are very sharp on the machine
