Sorry about another 8322 thread! Searched the many related calls on here and not seen one that has an error that goes flash-flash-pause
    flash-flash-pause etc.

Washer seems to run to about half way thru cycle then grinds a bit, stops and starts a bit, and either continues ok to the end, or gives up the ghost with the error above. If it fails, we restart it from the beginning and it usually completes ok, although it’s obviously gonna fail completely if we carry on like this.

    Any advice appreciated.

Flood protection is activated – the undertray of the machine is flooded. Drain off to reset, then you must find and rectify the leak or it will do it again.

    Power off as you investigate.

I’m returning to tell you my dishwasher is actually ok, and to warn others who might get the same problem.
As the dishwasher was working about 7 times out of 10, i decided to let it die as I had no cash. So we’ve ran it since my first post and it has eventually stopped with the problem and is now running perfect everytime.
This left me somewhat baffled, until it dawned on me that I cleaned the drain out the other day, that the dishwasher empties into.
My 2 year old daughter had filled the grid up with stones and completely blocked it. Hence problem!

And the water that was in the base, probably shorting the askol wash motor, has leaked out or evaporated.
As it’s now running OK I’d guess that the original problem was overfoaming leading to a spillage into the base.
