2/ Check that feed tubes to upper rotor are plugged in behind bottom rotor.

Thanks for the advice . Tried everything, nothing chocked, no funny sounds, everything normal apart from when i put say a soup plate in the top shelve start a run there is no water in the plate at any time during the cycle. Does this mean a new pump? Rgds Miranda Ps everything including the electrics are in A1 condition

I can’t give you a definitive answer to the question. The circulation pump is the known weak spot on these machines, however a blockage underneath can give similar problems – only two weeks ago I dealt with a similar problem which turned out to be a plastic medicine spoon blocking the inlet to the heater.
You’re cheapest option would be to use the repairs@ link below to find a local UKW independent engineer in your area – our charges are considerably lower than the manufacturers.
Let us know how you get on,

It annoyed me so much that i decided to remove the pump myself! However i cannot decide how to remove the jubilee type clips ,do i need to purchase a special tool as i might just be able to remove them but probably not be able to put them back on.Rgds
