    The spray arm in the base of my diplomat ADP 8342 isn’t working.
    I’ve taken it off and checked it and it doesn’t appear to be blocked.
    Any ideas?

    Is the top one spraying?

    Yes it is, so everything on the top rack is getting cleaned

    Alternator valve has jammed – replacement circulation motor will be the only solution. I would suggest that that is not a cost effective repair on this appliance.

    I think the pump is this one, but check with spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk before ordering.

    God I HATE this machine!!! I’ve only just had a new front control panel for it!

    I’ll break it to you gently – it’s a Chinese Haier machine, with a badge stuck on it. Use the Search facility, put ‘Haier AND dishwasher’ in for this forum only and see what you’re up against.

    There are so many better machines available. Now is the time to stop spending on this one……..
