ParticipantDiplomat ADP8352 slimline dishwasher. FA03V0E0HOO. Serial no:- FA6810134.
Starts OK, fills, wash motor runs, but continues to fill to overfill and flood. Valve is OK as it stops when the power is off; metered the pressure switch – that’s OK; pressure chamber clear, no holes in the pressure hose. Looked for a flowmeter; not fitted. The pressure switch must activate in order to start the wash motor, but does not stop the machine filling. 😕
I can only think it is the PCB – have I missed anything? The machine is an Indesit clone.
Any help appreciated!!
Thanks,
Steve.

Thanks, Loopey!
I looked for the wiring coming from a flowmeter and there is definately no sign of anything bar the pressure switch on this machine. Indesit flowmeters are usually fitted in line with the valve before the airbox. The airbox photo on Connect doesn’t show one either. 😕 The parts list is quite extensive….but no mention of a flowmeter. Is it possible to get an overfill fault with a PCB?

dont asume anything, these are chinese made machines!!!!
Have you tried to blow into the pressure switch while filling to see if it stops? Or check continuity while blowing into it? that would eliminate the switch leaving only the pcb.

Checked the pressure switch by blowing into it on fill and by test meter. Seems fine. I even took the wiring off the pressure switch (2 tags) and joined them together manually. The pressure switch seems to be irrelevant and doesn’t alter the machine’s behaviour at all.
Got to be the PCB methinks….. 🙁Cheers,
Steve.
