Diplomat ADP8500

Hi. Had a look a previous posts on this machine but somewhat inconclusive.
The issue is: turn to any programme and the machine pumps then goes to fill. It is a pulsed fill when it shouldn`t be. The wash motor will not run, the machine carries on filling but I didn`t let it get too high to save a possible flood. I thought the wash motor maybe / may still be the problem so I tried the whole exercise 4 times then swt`d off and felt the wash motor stator…it was cold so presume wasn`t getting power. The draid pump works when the programme is aborted / cancelled. The l/h/side chamber reed contact and impellor seems to work ok, 5 volts`ish .
Any suggestions please?

The built into the sump pressure switch is spotless. Read drain pump works……. rather than draid pump works…….!

not on a good internet connection at the mo but from memory. Check the timer power supply if it uses capacitor to drop voltage to power board change it

Thx for reply.
In other words there is a capacitor on the pcb that may have gone wrong. If it has change that capacitor. I`ll have a look before my usual blundering around. Cheers.
