    Hello,

I have a Diplomat AHY3620 single oven that has been having problems with the grill being a bit temperamental and not always working. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the energy regulator and have one on order.

However, during my fault finding I took a look at the 48°C pre-set thermostat and tried to test it, but didn’t know what result to expect. Should it be open circuit at room temp?
Just for my own info, what does this actually control? I suspect it is the fan that kicks in after the grill has been on for a little while so that when the temp gets to 48°C the thermostat closes and starts the fan up. Is this right?

    Thanks.

    Hi

It’ll probably be the fan stat which is normally open until it reaches +48oc then turns the fan on
