awkward fault with this cooker and need advice.food only cooking on one side,when fan oven selected,burnt while uncooked on other.im baffled only used to get this with side element cookers,changed main oven stat no difference.also any idea for m/o stat part no and element part no and who supplies,thanks all richard,need help awkward customer. 😕

Hi eng 14,

does this fan oven work with a circular element or just a conventional oven with a fan. If the food is only cooking on one side I would suspect that one of the elements has gone, top or bottom.

AHY44** will have two more numbers on the end (hence the asterisks), those are taken from the user manual and not the oven rating plate 😉

Probably a door seal or hinge issue though 🙂

thanks for the reply guys,this oven has circular element alanj,dave i like your prognosis.i took this mod no from user manual,any idea what p/nos hinges and sel are likely to be,thanks richard.

sorry for late reply, got a mate who works with diplo,
he says its the fan elelment thats faulty….
hes had a few like this…..
still hasnt worked out the reason for the prob though …
