    Diplomat Alarm gone very quiet?

My Diplomat select 920 AHY44** double oven alarm has gone very quiet. I know their are 3 frequencies you can change by pressing the minus button but even the loudest of these is very quiet. Does it mean changing the clock timer to cure this problem, I’m guessing they are expensive if available, is this the only cure or does someone here know a simpler and cheaper alternative?

I haven’t taken the trouble to find out the exact model number as yet because I believe it’s hidden on top of the built-in oven.

Correct on all counts I should imagine.

Usually the timers will run from around £80 to about £140 depending on the model.

Thanks… I’ll have to check to see if a hearing aid is a cheaper alternative then 😆
