Diplomat APM 8512 powers on but nothing else

HI,

I have a diplomat APM 8512 machine whcih powers on (light is on) the door locks but does nothing else. I checked the control board and found that a Capacitor appeared blown which i duly replaced. Hoping that this may be teh only problem, however it appears that it wasnt and the machine still do anything past powering on, i have tried different programs etc to no avail. I also tried the pressure switch by lightly blowing and can hear the pump starting like it wants to drain water from the system.
I have also checked the pipes and pumps for blocakges and all seem clear, the heater is also reading a resistance.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this 😕

I suspect it could be the control board but dont really fancy shelling out on a new one if it wont solve the problem.

The machine is built by Merloni for MFI, very similar to Servis machines. The PCB is the weak link. The one fitted to your appliance is p/no 546013300 or 546013301 – they interchange anyway.

any chance you can measure the width of the machine pls?
