Diplomat APM 8702 – Can’t find the fluff filter!

Hi,

Please can someone help.

We have a Diplomat APM 8702. I know that it is very important to clean the filter regularly. Although where is the filter???

There is screw cap in the bottom right hand corner of the machine. I have unscrewed that and water comes out of a tiny hole. In my experience this dosnt look like a filter because it is way too small and there is no fluff.

Can someone help?

that is the filter unscrew it and pull it out.

I agree, but when i unscrew the cap off there is just a black rubber ring and a small hole where the water comes out. I have tried to pull it out, but there is no logical way to remove it. Shall i just try and yank it out with something????

there is probably something stuck in it preventing it from coming out, a gentle pull would be best.
