Diplomat APM 8702 washer/dryer broken

Hi, this evening our combo washer/drier decided to give up on us.

Symptoms:
* In washer mode, it does nothing but sit there.
* In dryer mode, it does seem to pump hot air, but it *also* starts pumping cold water into the drum! The drum doesn’t spin.

Any suggestions? My guess is the control board is duff..

Sounds good to me……. Blown tracks and dead resistors are standard fare on these Merloni built machines.
