    I am having trouble fitting a new seal to my Diplomat APM6217 freezer

    There appears to be a panel holding the original seal in place but I’m not sure how to remove it.

    Anyone with any experience of these?

    If memory serves that’s a foamed door is it not?

    Which means that replacing it means changing the full door or being very, very careful fitting it as it is essentially glued in place. It’s a bit of a pain to do those.

    Yes indeed it does seem fit that description, annoying as I’ve wasted £35 on a new seal.

    I don’t think being careful will be an option, it looks as though the plastic panel holding the seal in place has also split, so a new door may be the only way.
