diplomat dishwasher 8322 7 flash fault

fault is 7 flashes then pause , beeping and rinse light comes on , seems to fill a bit then fault occurs it will drain away if left a few more seconds. any ideas anyone please.

Error 7 = Flow meter failure.
Unplug machine, remove left side panel and the flow meter is the small PCB with an edge connector plug and wiring going to it. Pull off the plug , clean the edge contacts and refit plug. Test for function.

Power off, plug out before any inspection. :plug:

hi, I take it you mean pulling out the dishwasher from unit and get access from exterior panel . Is this a job that I may be able to fix without the need for an engineer
