    Hi,
    I’ve just been out to look at a Diplomat slimline dishwasher ACA9102 – its the chinese made piece of cr*p version.

    The machine powers on but you cannot move the programme indicator on to any programme. If you keep the button pressed as you turn it off if makes a slight beep light it should when it advances from one programme to the next when selecting it.
    Customer said that when he got to the machine when it failed, all the lights where flashing but now its just dead.
    Ive had this fault few times recently but have normally told the customer quite rightly that the machine is dog and its probably not worth it, presuming it to be a PCB fault.

    Unfortunately for me, the customer is moving house in a few months and wants it fixing no matter what the cost.

    Has anybody had this fault and fixed it?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    insulation fault on wash motor.

    might have water in base you might be able to fix leak(if there is one) and dry out motor, but chances are itll need replaced.

    No, i checked the base for leaks and it was bone dry. First thing i always check with these machines, with the over soaping problem and the centre shaft unscrewing itself, I even meggered the machine and it showed up as acceptable.

    will probs still be a motor fault, ive done loads of these with those symptoms.

    Cheers for that, think i’ll go armed with a motor as well when I go back. You dont know the part number for the motor do you. The only place I can see it at is connect and they dont show part numbers. Its not listed at masterpart and qualtex under this model number.
