diplomat dishwasher adp 8132

hi

i’d be grateful for any help with this problem:

i have a diplomat adp 8132 dishwasher. it’s about 3 years old.

my problem is that it starts ok when i start a programme, but after about 5 minutes it stops making noises. after leaving it for a few hours, i open the door to find nothing is clean and there’s a little collection of water at the bottom – that hasn’t drained.

i got a guy to come and have a go at fixing it. he said, based on the above description, the “distribution pump” needs replacing. he said it would be cheaper to just buy a new dishwasher.

what fo you guy’s think?

Are there any warning lights flashing?

Could be the motor, capacitor, side chamber, heater, stats….
