I’m currently racking my brains with a diplomat dishwasher Mod- APM6321SX which is displaying fault ‘FA’. I know that this is a OWI fault and have checked the grid in the sump which is clear so I’m wondering if there is a way to be sure that it is the flow meter behind the left hand side panel or do I just have to spend £40 on the part and keep my fingers crossed? Thanks in advance for any help.

Whether or not it is relevant in this particular case, it is never necessary to spend £40 on a Whirlpool flowmeter. Just do a search using the term, “reed switch” at top left of this page.

Thanks for advice. Customer has decided to scrap machine and buy a new one from us but I’ll remember for the future.
