Diplomat dishwasher FA error message

Hello there, new member Spidernix reporting in….

Having probs with Diplomat ADP8332 dishwasher.

First stop working showing error message F2 then in the last 24hrs has changed to FA.

Any ideas?

Any instructions on reseting machine would be helpful too!!

Holding the start button for a few seconds may reset it but it’s doubtful with these faults to be honest.

F2 is a water leak problem and FA is a problem with the tubidity sensor.

Engineer time if the reset doesn’t work on one of these models (Whirlpool manufactured), check the repairs@ link below 🙂

Dave, thanks for the reply. I did go repairs@ below but they don’t have anyone in my area. So I called the local engineer.

He didn’t have a clue what the error messages were all about.

I had to tell him about this forum and what I found out what the error message meant.

Anyway, he drained the base plate which was full of water and it worked so he left. Then one cycle later, it did the same thing and gave error message F2 then FA and stopped working.

My confidence is this guy is not huge. So can anyone tell me how I/he can fix this on a more permanent basis.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Sounds like you’ve got a leak which may be caused by a blockage.

Try feeling around in the sump (where the filter slots in) being careful for any broken glass. Other than that it will probably be a strip-down job to examine the internal hoses and the pump; not a DIY job to be honest 😕
