Help! We have a Diplomat intergrated dishwasher model ADP 8132 Type 12043. It was installed about 4 years ago in our holiday cottage which is let on a weekly basis so the machine gets lots of use. The problem is not technical really, it’s just that the door comes away from the machine when you pull it open. I can see that the plastic parts on the actual machine into which the lugs on the door go, have suffered wear and tear and are no longer a tight enough fit to hold the lugs which hold the door to the machine. The door has always been a tight fit so needs a good tug to get it open. The bottom screws seem to be holding fast but you really have to lift the door up high to get the door open at the moment.

Question: Can these plastic fittings be bought separately and how do we prevent this happening again. I would have thought that the fittings would have been made of metal.
We’ve holdaymakers using the cottage in four days time and like to give them every facility so want a quick fix! Any ideas gratefully received.

Door fitting kit – p/no 697450274. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering. Chances of getting it in 4 days? Nil.
