DIPLOMAT DISWASHER FA FAULT CODE

Hello 😀 I have a Diplomat ADP8332 which is coming up with the FA fault code. 🙁 First how do I reset it, secondly if it comes up again what do you think the fault may be.

FA is the “Optical water indicator failure” fault. Unfortunately, this isn’t fitted to your appliance, so almost certainly a computer problem.

You can clear the existing programme by holding down the start button.

Hello thanks for that 🙂 , I presume that there is not a reset procedure (I have found comments on web about switch off, then on, press prog. button 4 times, shut door, and it clears its problem). Do I therefore require an engineer 😥

That’s the reset procedure for the SMEG-built Diplomats – yours is a Whirlpool.

Due to the cost of the PCB, I’d send for the pros – it might avoid an expensive mistake.
