    DIPLOMAT DISHWASHER ADP 8322, 18 MONTHS OLD. MOTOR JUST MANAGING TO TURN BOTTOM ARM. CHECKED ALL RECIRCULATING PIPEWORK. NOTHING STUCK IN PUMP HOUSING. MOTOR DOES NOT SMELL BURNT.THE MOTOR IS LABELED ASKOLL MOD M95 ART295106 COD461972474391.
    MUST BE A WEAK MOTOR WHICH IS ABOUT £100. ANY ADVICE BEFORE WE ORDER IT. WHO ARE THE CHEAPEST PEOPLE TO GET DIPLOMAT PARTS FROM

    Presumably you have the motor off the machine as you’ve checked the housing. If so you could run it on a flying lead to see if it really is “weak.”
    IIRC, this is the one which incorporates a little circuit board. Perhaps there’s a fault on that. Wouldn’t expect the bearing in the impellor end to have worn out yet unless it’s had particularly heavy use.

    Big Askoll motor no longer used – order 4812 361 58334 through usual wholesalers.

    Ive just changed one of these motors in the same model its a whirlpool machine and they have changed it from a crap askoll type to a ceset type

    What is IIRC? Theres no pcb on the motor or any sign of a dry joint on the main PCB. I’ll try connecting straight to the mains and see if it seems powerfull enough.

    The Big Askoll pump has a pcb down the middle of the field coils, some have a TOC as well. They are notoriously troublesome – save yourself a heap of trouble and put the conventional motor in.
