    Hi all
I have a diplomat apm6528 fridge that has a warning alarm and red led light flashing and the green temperature lights flash . However the alarm keeps going off even though the door is closed , the fridge is still maintaining temperature & is working ok , anyone got any ideas how to stop this from happening ???
    Thank sturaw

On this model when you get this fault it is not repairable.

It is a sensor fault for the alarm and the sensor is foamed in and not replaceable.

The fridge will work ok but the alarm will sound and red light will flash.

The only thing you can do is cut the alarm buzzer on the PCB.

It is not a DIY job as you have to take off the control unit.

You have to turn off the mains supply to the fridge.

Then take the control panel off if I remember you have to take the light switch off by squeezing it top and bottom then pull it off with the spring then you can get to the screw that holds the control on.

You then have to slide the control forward to remove it.

It is not easy unless you are used to working on domestic appliances.
