    the frige part of my diplomat apm 6825 seems to work fine for a while then quite often it just stops then won’t restart again. If i give the side of the control unit a gently tap it immediately starts again. The freezer part is fine. Any suggestions very welcome thanks. 😕 😕

    looks like your thermostat is faulty

    thanks, that was my thinking too, i’ve been quoted about £100 for the part, maybe it’ll be wiser to buy completeley new one

    sound like main pcb and a vary good price for the part.

    Compared to £400+ to replace appliance.

    As an engineer it would be classed as a viable repair
