diplomat g720 oven getting no gas

Hi there,

I have a diplomat softline g720 oven in the kitchen and the oven part of it does not work.

The hobs light up fine and the gas also goes through in the grill (although the electronic lighter doesn’t work)

But when you go down to the oven neither the electronic lighter nor the gas actually works.

I can see this requiring an engineer to come and take a look but does anyone have any tips or tricks i can try out to get this fixed without the need of an engineer?

Hi James

When it comes to gas appliance repairs it`s best to have an engineer take a look, it`s also the safest option as well. You could try the “find an engineer “link in your post” 😉

Does it have a clock and is it set correctly?

cheers for the replys,

just checked the clock as you suggested, it is set correctly and have checked it is set to ‘manual cooking’ as per the instructions

guess I am going to have to take don’s advice and get an engineer out to it 🙂
